Earlier in the year, Ka§par released “Ave de Rapina”, as his bandcamp album debut. Roughly nine months later, the follow up appears, as “Prata da Casa”.

“Prata da Casa” follows the footsteps of it’s preceding album, collecting and refurbishing material from previously released vinyl on such revered record labels such as Finale Sessions, Tomorrow Is Now, Kid!, Stripped & Chewed, Escapade, Mont Lake and Ka§par’s own Percebes Música, adding a few unreleased specials. All material remastered and tweaked to modern sound standards.

His third long player, second in 2020, Prata da Casa aims at exposing his personal language and own artistry, his brand of pure malt synth-and-sample-heavy gritty dance floor groove. The music contained is summing up Ka§par’s unique brand of funk, jazz and boogie. It’s a perfect example of how these ideas reflect flawlessly into the realms of electronic music, through the languages of house, techno, breaks and also looser downtempo grooves in a manner that is all his own.
